Metro’s revolutionary wetbacks overcome those ever increasing winter power bills for thousands of satisfied Metro owners. With the benefit of reduced power consumption and the availability of hot water during a power outage, a wetback can either boost or provide the majority of your households hot water requirements during winter.

  • 25.4mm copper piping encased in a cast alloy wetback casting for maximum efficiency and heat transfer
  • Fitted internally to the rear wall of the appliance on the freestanding models listed
  • Fitted internally to either the left or right hand side wall of the firebox (Trend Insert model)

Please note: Wetback options are only available for the Ambie One and Trend Insert models when installed on a property with a land size of 2 hectares or larger.
